Achieve With SAT, a leading online tuition agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of assessments in compliance with NCFE guidelines. This role involves overseeing internal quality assurance processes, conducting assessments, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Internal Quality Assurance Officer (IQA)

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Quality Assurance:

  • Design and conduct assessments for NCFE qualifications, ensuring alignment with NCFE guidelines and standards.

  • Implement and manage internal quality assurance processes to maintain consistency, fairness, and compliance with NCFE requirements.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training and support to assessors on NCFE guidelines, assessment methodologies, and quality assurance practices.

  • Facilitate standardization meetings to ensure consistency in assessment practices.

Internal Audits and Reviews:

  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of assessment processes.

  • Implement improvement strategies based on audit findings to enhance quality assurance measures.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, quality assurance activities, and assessor qualifications.

  • Ensure that all documentation complies with NCFE guidelines and internal policies.

Communication:

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including assessors, learners, and management, to communicate assessment policies, changes, and best practices.

  • Handle queries and concerns related to assessments in a timely and professional manner.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to assessment processes and quality assurance.

  • Stay informed about NCFE updates and industry best practices to enhance internal processes.

External Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with external bodies as needed for external quality assurance processes.

  • Provide necessary documentation and support for external audits.

Compliance:

  • Ensure full compliance with NCFE guidelines and regulations.

  • Keep abreast of changes in NCFE requirements and update internal processes accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in education, assessment, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an internal assessor or quality assurance officer, preferably within an online education or tuition setting.

  • In-depth knowledge of NCFE guidelines and assessment processes.

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to train and support assessors effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and documentation skills.

  • Familiarity with online assessment platforms and technologies.
